Accessibility of the Website

The pages of the www.sevillacb.com portal have been designed and reviewed under the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0”, issued by the WAI working group of W3C.

The purpose of these guidelines is to facilitate access to the information offered on Internet to the public. Among the main measures adopted are:

Images

Alternative text versions have been included for graphics with relevant content.

Font size

The fonts used in the websites are variable, which means that the user can size them up or down from the browser.

Keyboard Shortcuts

These facilitate access to different sections quickly and directly. The main shortcuts defined in the website are:

• "S": Skip to content.
• "A": Accessibility information (this page).
• "M": Site Map.
• "C": Contact the Sevilla Congress and Convention Bureau.

The keyboard shortcuts are different for each browser. The most common are:

• Internet Explorer (Windows): ALT + [letter] + ENTER
• Internet Explorer (Macintosh): Control + [letter] + ENTER
• Mozilla Firefox (Windows): ALT + SHIFT + [letter]
• Mozilla Firefox (Macintosh): Control + [letter]
• Mozilla Firefox (Linux): ALT + SHIFT + [letter]
• Opera (Windows): SHIFT + ESC + [letter]
• Opera 7.0 (Macintosh): SHIFT + ESC + [letter]
• Opera 7.0 (Linux): SHIFT + ESC + [letter]

Design, browsing and interactivity

We have tried to make browsing consistent throughout the portal, with the same structure in all of the pages. We have also included direct links to access the contents of the pages and, as far as possible, we have avoided the use of JavaScript to interact with the website. The information has been separated from the graphic presentations so that users who wish to browse at a higher speed may do so by deactivating the download of stylesheets in the browser.

Level of accessibility

The portal is TAW-validated and has been reviewed using different devices. The general level of accessibility is double-A (AA) and some triple-A (AAA) specifications are also met.
